Snow!! Really!!!!

Not this last Saturday
But the week before
I looked outside and to my horror
There was f-ing snow
Snow I say,
The weekend before Thanksgiving
This can’t be true
F you snow!
I hate you!!
It didn't last long, and really this little dusting was very pretty, but it is just a harsh reminder that winter is on the way. .

  1. I'm a little jealous. It's friggen 78 degrees and sunny over here today. I'm ready to put on the AC. I am kind of looking forward to the 1st real snow fall.

  2. I would take 78 over frozen car any day of the week. Wait, isn't it supposed to be winter at your house? Is it usually 78 in December? NO!! What the what?

  4. I know what you mean. We had one last pretty weekend and that's it. Now snow is in a forecast for next 4 months :(

  5. :( I'm sorry
I don't mind looking at it, but I have crashed every car I have ever owned in the snow, let's just say, we aren't friends.

  6. We had snow last week too. It stuck around for a couple of days. I wanted to shoot myself! :-)

I'm slow starting this year, but I'll get there!

  8. We haven't had any snow yet, but winter is definitely on it's way with strong winds and sudden downpours of rain and hail.

  9. Don't do that! How is it you had snow, and Meleah was basking in 78 degree weather yesterday?

  10. Winter, dude, seriously? Don't you have some polar bears to support or something? My new theory, for every flake of snow that falls on me, one more polar bear has to swim farther to find food. You know they don't like to swim right?

  11. Weekend snow works for me, wind, rain and hail, no thanks.

  12. I was home and warm, but the cats and Mo were out in it. The cats were drenched - poor babies.

  13. I had no idea you were a poet!  Maybe if I had to deal with snow more than once every blue moon, I'd learn to hate it too. But it's a rare treat for us.

  14. Wow! How soon we forget an ode to liquid soap.

  15. Oh! You're right! That was a brilliant poem and I stand corrected!

  16. I wouldn't go so far as to call it brilliant, but it was pretty good if I do say so myself :)

  18. Oh, yeah, we get snow. Two years ago we got so much that they couldn't keep it plowed and pretty much everything closed for about a week. I think we're supposed to have one of those winters again. Fortunately I only work 2 easy miles from home and I could walk if I had too.
