Lunch With the Girls

Today I ran out for a quick lunch with my girls Mary and April, we used to work in the same building, Mary went to work somewhere else, April is still there, and we moved. It was good to see them.

We went to a really good Korean BBQ, I ate chicken. Wow, look! My hand looks like a deformed claw.

  1. No, your hand doesn't look like a deformed claw, but it does look like you're gripping that table to save your life! :-)

  2. I was sitting in the far chair and had to lean way forward to get my mellon in the picture, so I guess I was holding on for dear life.

  3. I was gonna say the same thing Nicky said about your hand. That's a really good picture of you. I think it's a good picture of Mary and April too. But since I've never seen them before...it's hard to say if it is or not.

  4. It is a good picture of them. Mary (in the middle) got the guy at the other table to take it, after she borrowed his special sauce, and asked him to sit with us. She's a big flirt.

  5. And as it turns out the lady that owns the restaurant knows the guy that Mary is dating and called his ex wife and told her.

  7. Ahem, you had to lean forward to get your WHATs in the picture?

    Kidding.  Kidding.

Korean BBQ - I don't think I've ever had any.  It is sweet, spicy, a little of both?

  8. I realized after I wrote it that’s what I said, I just figured meh, someone will catch it. And you did! Good job J

Korean BBQ is similar to teriyaki, I ordered chicken with veggies and potstickers, the veggies are like what you would get at teriyaki, the chicken isn’t as saucy, and poststickers, are just potstickers, at the restaurant where we went the kimchee was super spicy, but very good. They make amazing short ribs and bulgogi, if you have never had that, the only way I can describe it is really soft warm not chewy beef jerky.

  9. I'm not seeing as much of your melons as I have in the past.  But frankly, when you've got melons like yours, who worries about claws?

OMFG! Your hand does look like a deformed claw. Is it, or is this a trick of the camera? I'm kinda creeped out right now.

  12. I'll be the first to admit that I do too.

  13. Melons don't offset claws, man hands, or missing front teeth, unless it's a butterface situation.

  14. It's fate, grandma's hands looked like that, it'll be about another 50 years down the road, but it's pretty much guaranteed.
