You Are My Sunshine


It's been a long time since I have participated in the Saturday Centus,
I get to use any 50 words plus the prompt You Are My Sunshine and a picture.






You Are My Sunshine

When my world is dark you make it bright 
When I feel the shadows have crept in and are holding me tight
You smile or laugh and I am alright
You are smart and funny the sweetest love of my life
I love you my granddaughter Haley
You are my sunshine.

    This is so sweet! I'm glad you and Haley have each other whenever things get a little bit rough. She's adorable!

    Oh, Madge, those are adorable pictures.  I agree that grandkids are the sunshine in our lives but I would bet you are the sunshine in Haley's.

    We took her to the fair yesterday, she spent a good deal of the car ride singing

    Haha, I bought her that bikini two years ago, the diaper filled out the bottom and now it just fits, the top is a little small but not tight so it works for grandma time.
    Steve is 17 years older than me, and his kids are 25 and 27, I'll be 40 in October, so I guess technically I could be a grandma on my own, had I birthed babies of my won.
