My Tattoos Part 2

On our second aniversary, we wanted another tattoo, I got this... it's two hearts that twine into one, makes sense for year two. It's between my shoulder blades, and now that I look at it, I really need to get it recolored and redrawn. Looks like my skin ate the blue ink that was in it.

  1. I've wanted to get a small guardian angel on my right shoulder for the longest time, but I want Kat von D to do it and can't get an appointment with her. Still, maybe one day...

  2. I've thought about angel wings on my back, I like the way they look if they're done right. There are a ton of good artists out there, why are you stuck on Kat?

  3. I just think it would be cool to have a tattoo by her. Although, I liked her better before she hooked up with Jesse James.

  4. I have much respect for someone who will tattoo their face, especially someone who was pretty to begin with. I would never ever do it, although I have considered eye liner.

  5. These posts keep reminding me I need to make an appointment to get my next tattoo!

  6. A few months ago I discovered the perfect lip stain. There's about 65% part of me that wants it tattooed.

But then again, it would look ridiculous when I'm pale. And hungover.

  7. VERY cool! Do you get one for each anniversary? You're going to run out of body space unless you cut your marriage short!

  8. I see you be freckled, like me. :)

    Nice hearts!

  9. And if you scrunch your shoulder, the tattoo will look remarkably like Joan Rivers

  10. Oh, that's lovely. I've always wanted a tattoo, and I even have one all drawn and ready, but I just can't seem to get around to actually having it done.

  11. Pick the right time in your life and just do it. Every tatoo I have reminds me of where I was in my life when I got it, and who I cared about most. I'd love to see what you want to get.

  17. I'm getting a Harley Davidson tat. Now I've made up my mind. Right across my bicep. Or maybe on my boob.

  18. LOL!!! wow you are really bored, do the bicep, your boobs are NICE!! But you're still young, and there's stretchage that will eventually happen, don't want that logo looking like a dead eagle

  19. I'm going to do the kind that wash off. Don''t worry.

  20. Seriously. I didn't realize my last tattoo would take three sessions so I didn't finish it for two months. Being religious about sunscreen, moisturizer and not being able to get in the pool sucks.

Oh, and that white circle around the tattoo looked totally hot.

  21. As much as I love tattoos, my skin does not, so I can only sit 2 hours at a time before my skin puffs up too much.

I was trying to post one here, but I will on my blog.

  22. My tats puff up when I'm sick.

  23. It was actually my friend who drew it for me, it's the outlines of a star and inside the star are words that mean something to be, like family, music, that sort of thing. I might post the picture on my blog some time when I'm out of other ideas.

I didn't realize tattoos fade, or that you can have them re-colored. I say go for it.

So many jokes begging to be told here, so little time.

Please do, Ziva. I think we'd all like to see it. Well, maybe just me. But one person is better than none. You have to play the cards life deals you. Or stack the deck so that you can play your own game.

I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Where would you put your new tattoo, anyway? Linda's getting one on her breast or bicep, Madge has one on her ankles and another one between her shoulder blades. What about you?

One little typo in that sentence and you'd've really had my attention.

  28. I have 5 or 6 if you look at the timing of it all, the very last one was an addition to number 5

  29. Find it, I'd like to see the drawring

  30. It's much cheaper than getting it done fresh. The inks aren't as good as old school ink, and I have a feeling it's because it makes them easier to laser them off or fade when/if you get tattoo remorse, like having your wife's name tattooed on you - aka the sign of a pending divorce. Unfortunately for the people that get them with foresight it means having to pay to keep them nice.
