I'm in the Apron Making Business!

I started making Aprons on Sunday. I designed the pattern, and it's not one size fits most yet,I was talking to a friend, and she said that usually these types of aprons don't fit bigger girls so there's no point in even wearing them.  I have an idea how to change that, everyone should be able to look cute.

This one took me about 8 hours to make,  but I think once I get in the zone I should be able to make them fairly fast. I have a friend that has a little store she said she could sell whatever I make.

  1. Thanks Abby, I'm a little partial, but I really like it too. :P

  2. OMG! Adorable! Are you gonna pad the boobies? Or do you think it would cause a Mrs. Doubtfire incident?

  3. That is so lovely!

You remind me so much of my mum, with this sort of thing.

  9. If that isn't the cutest apron ever, I don't know what is! How much are you asking for them?

  17. I think that's what I'm going to wind up doing Jayne, I'm pretty sure I can't sell them to her with enough of a profit margin to make it worth her while, and with Etsy I can keep more of the money for myself. :)

  19. Very cute and clever.  I recently was looking for a cute apron to put into a gift basket along with baking "stuff" for my daughter.  You would be shocked to find how crappy and expensive most of them are in retail stores.  I ended up at a gourmet kitchen store and paid an horrific amount (for what it was).

    Good for you.

  20. I thought I made my blog private, glad you were able to get through. I'm job hunting, and didn't want to leave it open, I deleted all my comments everywhere, so you'll have some anonymous ones from me.

I'm going to try to get 40, my design skills are up to par, but I'm still perfecting the sewing sinceit's been so long

  24.  Well, Madge, I want a $100.00 Apron.  I want to show it off to my friends and then everybody will want one.  (And yes, I plan to pay you for it.)  I love pink!  I love glitter!  Think Mariah Carey meets meets Helen Mirren.
